Black smoke: due to incomplete combustion of diesel fuel, which is not completely burned carbon to form free carbon, suspended in the gas with the exhaust gas together with the discharge, it becomes black smoke.
Failure causes:
(1) air filter is too dirty, intake resistance is too large. Dirty intercooler.
(2) Injector pump oil supply is too much or the unevenness of oil supply to each cylinder is too large.
(3) Low-speed oil reduction device is damaged.(Connecting air line leakage)
(4) Poor fuel injection from the injector.
(5) Low cylinder pressure.
(6) Poor quality of diesel fuel
(7) Worn governor.
(8) Thickening solenoid valve coil burned out.
Diagnosis and elimination methods:
(1) remove the air filter, check and clean the intercooler, if the diesel engine black smoke phenomenon disappeared, indicating that the air filter is too dirty, should be cleaned.
(2) If the air filter is good, the diesel engine in the idling operation of black smoke, indicating that the idling condition of the oil supply is too large should check the injection pump.
(3) If the injection pump fuel supply is good, you should check the injection pump fuel supply timing.
(4) If the fuel supply timing is correct, you can use a single-cylinder oil method to check the work of each cylinder. If a cylinder oil break after the turn change is not obvious, and the phenomenon of black smoke disappeared, indicating that the cylinder is not working well, it may be too large a sub-pump oil supply, injector spray quality is not good or cylinder pressure is too low, diagnosed to be ruled out.
(5) If the above are no problem, it may be too poor quality of diesel fuel, resulting in incomplete combustion, should be replaced with diesel fuel.
